After collecting years of knowledge and experience, we have decided to set up Java Teak Trading. A Dutch company, with own people on location. Specialists who are skilled in sawing, re-sawing and processing Teak trunks (Tectona Grandis), after which we export this high-quality plantation wood. FLEGT proved and fully controlled by Indonesian law and regulations.

Quality

Teak wood is known as one of the most sustainable types of wood on our planet. The structure with its content of natural oil preservative protects the wood against damage from harmful fungi and parasites. The Teak core wood from the forests of Indonesia, is exceptionally durable and withstands extreme climatic conditions. Teak wood has the natural property of a non-slippery surface on wet floors and is easy to work with. This is partly why Teak is the most preferred wood for maritime applications.

Our focus in the local sawmill is to select sustainable plantation Teak Timber, Quarter Sawn & First European Quality for the high-end market. Quarter Sawn & First European Quality, better known as QS and FEQ, is the highest quality in the Teak quality range. No knots, no natural defects, no spider mites or insect holes, 100% free of defects. Extensively used for luxurious yacht building, exclusive decks and special furniture.

Products

Java Teak Trading processes Teak wooden logs (Tectona Grandis) into AD and/or KD products, in Solid S4S. Where necessary, prescribed by Indonesian export V-Legal laws and regulations, production is carried out with a 'cosmetic profile'.
Java Teak Trading produces customer-oriented orders such as: QS Decking, solid profiles and FJL laminated panels.
